A New Adventure

Released in 2013 for Adult Swim, Rick And Morty is an adult-targeted animated series that was created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon. The show focuses on the eponymous Rick Sanchez (voiced by Roiland) and his grandson, Morty Smith (Roiland) — who are both characters inspired by Back To The Future’s Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown (Christopher Lloyd) and Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox). Using Rick’s incredible scientific mind, the pair embark on various multi-dimensional adventures. They are occasionally accompanied by other members of the family: Beth (Sarah Chalke), Jerry (Chris Parnell), and Summer (Spencer Grammer).

Over the course of multiple seasons, Rick And Morty has aired tons of hilarious episodes, taking audiences to the strangest corners of the Universe. Our beloved protagonists have encountered an eclectic cast of characters: Birdperson (Harmon), Scary Terry (Jess Harnell), Squanchy (Tom Kenny), and Mr. Poopybutthole (Alessandro Bevilacqua) — among others.
